Tania Head, who claims she was a survivor of 9/11, is now being in the light once again. This time not for heroism, but as a liar and a disgrace! Soon after 9/11, Tania Head claimed to be one of only 19 survivors of the World Trade Center attack that was about the point of impact. Now she is in the is in the spot light for all the wrong reasons. Now the questions from Americans is will she be punished?

Since 9/11, Tania Head as told her tragic stories hundreds of times and led multiple tours through ground zero. She has been accompanied by many people while going through the tour to include former Mayor Giuliani, Mayor Bloomberg and former Governor Pataki. Her story has been featured multiple times, not to mention the countless television interviews. She became and heroic idol for those who were affected by 9/11. Thousands of heartfelt regards and prayers when out for Tania. Now it seems as if she has been lying on all her interviews. Every time Tania tells her story, something else is either add or dramatically changed from her story. Things just aren't adding up.

She starts her stories by saying that she was on the 78th floor when the plains hit. She talks about how a dying man gave her his wedding ring and that after lots of research; she later returned it to his wife. She further exaggerates her story by stating that she was saved by a volunteer who put out flames on her clothes. She told interviewers that she found strength from thinking about her wedding dress for her future marriage to her fiancé Dave. She continues to draw out a horrible, tragic story to include her fiancé, Dave, dying in the north tower.

Tania Head became so dramatic with her stories and commitment for survivors that she actually became president for the World Trade Center Survivors' Network. Tania was also responsible for corporate donations.

Among all her story telling, she told people that she worked for Merrill Lynch & Company but yet a spokeswoman reports that they have no record for her ever working for their company.

That's awful! I think the embarrassment of being found out will be enough punishment for her though.

Yeah, I hadn't heard of her either, but it actually strikes me as somewhat funny. If people didn't make such a big deal about "one person's intimate story" in the first place, she wouldn't have had enough hype to rise to her pedestal and then fall from it. The situation was a tragedy, but I imagine it should've been easier to recognize someone who was just reveling in it.

It's people like her that feed my already cynical heart when it comes to helping financially during any kind of natural disaster or other tragedy. I hadn't heard of this woman and her story before your article.

I saw this story on the news. I think the survivors should find her punishment. On the up side though she helped raise money.

Omfg, thats absurd. Why would she do that? Interesting article indeed, makes you think twice about what the truth really is.
