The Perfect Flawless Face
Tips and Tricks from a Make-Up Pro
1. Lets start with a concealer for all those uneven spots. Use a light hand ladies! You can use a yellow based concealer for under eye circles, and green tinted for blemishes. Use your finger to lightly tap it directly on spots, and then pat in a circle. Smearing and pulling is not only bad for your skin, but it also moves most of the concealer onto surrounding skin and off problem areas! Pat, pat, pat!
2. Now we're ready for foundation! My favorite is Max Factor's PanStik. You can vary the coverage to suit your needs. For skin that needs moderate to heavy coverage use a cosmetic wedge sponge and swipe across top of stick. For lighter to medium coverage consistencies use a slightly damp sponge in the same manner. Again remember to pat on. A quick series of pats, moving quickly all over your face is a technique called stippling. Its like making a series of little dots all over your face and going over them again and again until they're blended. You should need no more than two swipes of the stick. Any more than that and you're caking in on honey. Remember to blend blend blend! Into your hairline, down your jaw, and ears. You don't want a clown face!
