Cabins at Curry Village are available with a private bathroom or without one. We stayed in a cabin with a bath this past summer and really enjoyed our stay, particularly with having a readily accessible bathroom for our young child.
The cabin buildings are comprised of two individual units sharing one common wall. For the most part, the cabins are more widely spaced apart than the canvas tent cabins but you may still experience some noisy conditions from time to time.
Cabins with bath come furnished with beds - either one double bed, two double beds, or a double bed and a twin bed - and daily maid service is provided. If you choose to stay in a cabin without bath, then full daily maid service is not included. We stayed in a cabin with a double bed plus a twin bed for our toddler. The double bed was a comfy squeeze for my husband and I, but much more comfortable than our regular style of tent camping! The cabin was plenty warm in August, and we had no need for our electric wall heater.
Fortunately, the rooms do have electric fans which we used each evening so stimulate air flow as it tended to get a bit stuffy during the day. The cabins have screened windows around two sides so you can open those during the night, provided you don't mind the potential chattering of your fellow cabin renters.
The cabins come equipped with a small dresser and bedside table, perfect for storing various books, gear, and snacks. Most importantly, the cabins do not have televisions or telephones so you can rest in rustic comfort. The lack of television, I believe, really contributes to enjoying your stay in Yosemite as people tend to turn in earlier and get plenty of rest for the next day's exploration of the park. I really appreciated not hearing the drone of talking heads and silly shows and instead concentrated on nature's beauty.
You can relax comfortably on your own outdoor porch and most cabins have outside benches.
