Each Halloween, millions of individuals gather the supplies that are necessary to complete their Halloween costume. There are a number of popular Halloween costumes. You have the ever-popular witch, the vintage ghost, and the basic pumpkin costume. However, many individuals still favor the Halloween hippie costume. This can be a difficult costume to create. One of the most difficult components to find when it comes to this choice is the standard tie dye headband. Here, you will learn how to create your very own tie dye headband for the Halloween hippie.

Prior to starting your Halloween project, it is important to gather a few necessary supplies. The first thing that you will need is clothes dye. It is important that you purchase the same color schemes as your costume. Many individuals elect to use Halloween colors when creating a hippie costume. This would mean that you would select from the colors of black and orange. You may even choose black and gray. For the purpose of this tutorial, we will select black and orange.

The next thing that you will need to acquire is a few cotton headbands that are white in color. It is important to purchase at least three of these. This way, if you mess up on one you can start a new one. If all of them turn out well, you can use the remaining two to place around the wrists, or the pants that you will be wearing. You should also purchase a pack of rubber bands that are an assortment of sizes.

Once you have acquired the items that you need, you should locate two bowls that you can use to place the dye in. One bowl should contain black, and one bowl should contain orange. You should now begin to twist and turn the rubber bands onto the headband. The more you fold, twist, turn, and layer the headband, the more creative that your Halloween headband will turn out in the end.
