Blackwater USA: Private Security or Vigalante Group?

For those who don't know Blackwater USA, let me introduce them to you.

Blackwater USA is a security company hired by Halliburton, who I am sure that everybody knows is one of Vice President Cheney's favorite companies, which employs private security companies to provide security to important diplomats and convoys. It supplies food and other goods outside the green zones in Iraq. Blackwater employs 1,000 employees in Iraq, all being ex-Navy Seals and ex-Special Forces.Their parent company is located in Moyock N.C.suppling training and security supplies to security forces in Iraq.It seems that this security firm has itself in the news again,and the reason I say again, is that this is not the first time time that Blackwater USA has made the front page of one newspaper or another.

Blackwaters real problems started on February 4, 2007, when a journalist was killed outside the foreign Ministry building, and then three days later outside the state television building when three building guards were killed.but it doesn't stop there .On sept. 9 outside the Municipal Government building 5 killed,sept. 12 on the capitals Palistine Street where 5 wounded ,and the latest on sept.16 at Nisoor Square where 11 civilians died when Blackwater guards claimed that they came under fire from insurgents.All this causing both the Iraqi government and our government both starting investigations into the reckless actions of private security companies in Iraq.Iraq also informed our government that they had a tape that proved that the latest Blackwater incident was bogus.Now with all this information what happens.If there was a crime since private security companies have no laws,what law is it that they have to follow?
