Body sprays, body mists, body lotions and other beauty products can really help to enhance a woman's self image and confidence about herself. A good scent can give her confidence as she goes about her daily affairs. But I have to be careful whenever I use body mists and body sprays in the summertime as these products attract mosquitoes. Now as the summer has passed by and autumn is finally here, the cooler weather has dispersed the mosquitoes and I am finally able to make more liberal use of these beauty products without having to worry about becoming mosquito bait.

My local Big Lots in Yuba City, California, has regular sales going on. Even when there are no items that I am looking for on sale, products are still reasonably priced. One such product that I liked the look of was the selection of Calgon body mists on sale down the health and beauty aisle. This article will compare two body mists that I came across: Cherry Apple Body Mist by Calgon along with Caribbean Mint Body Mist by Calgon.

Price

Each 236ml (8 oz) bottle of body mist was on sale for just $2.00 from Big Lots. This is a very reasonable price that can fit anyone's budget.

Appearance

The Cherry Apple Body Mist by Calgon was a pale colour, resembling water with a hint of purple. On the other hand, the Caribbean Mint Body Mist by Calgon was a more exotic green colour that looked more visually appealing to me. I was more drawn to the Caribbean Mint Body Mist than I was to the Cherry Apple Body Mist.

Scent

When I a buy any kind of health and beauty products, there are two factors I look at, the price and the scent. Starting with the Cherry Apple Cherry Mist, I was struck by the very sweet scent. The cherry scent was very distinctive, with only a small hint of apple. It reminded me of a fruity "girly" type of scent that would appeal more to a teenage girl than the mature woman. The Caribbean Body Mist was a more subtle, fresh fragrance that would suits all ages.

Preference

I bought both bottles of body mist by Calgon, but I have to say that I prefer the scent of the Caribbean Mint Body Mist over the Cherry Apple scent as I make a lot more use of the Caribbean Mint than I do the Cherry Apple Body Mist.

These sound great. I bought something with coconut for my mom. I thought it smelled fantastic. I need to buy something for myself. Great work on this!

Sounds good! I wear little perfume in the summertime 'cause it attracts bees as well. :-)

Great review! I got a sample in the mail for the Caribbean mint a while back and I liked it. I will have to check my Big lots to see if they have it. Thanks!
