A Look at America's Next Top Model: Cycle Nine

Do you like modeling and fashion? Do you like 13 girls that are bound to get into a myriad of catfights? Do you like fierce and funny judges? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then America's Next Top Model is the reality show for you. Tyra Banks, Jay Alexander, and Jay Manuel are back for a ninth season to crown America's Next Model. They will have the task of evaluating 13 aspiring models to see who has what is takes to make in the cutthroat and backstabbing world of modeling. The smart reality competition opens people eyes to the wonderful and sometimes dark side of modeling. This show excels due to its judging panel, the challenges, and the occasional catfights.

America's Next Top Model came back for its ninth season and firing on all cylinders. This is due to its fierce, beautiful, and intelligent host Tyra Banks. The season premiere takes place on a cruise ship on the Caribbean with 33 girls as semi finalists. After interviews and the girls walking in their bathing suits for the judges, the group of girls is cut down to 20 semi finalist. The 23 girls that were cut at this point were left in the on board ship to wonder what went wrong. The remaining girls experienced their first Top Model photo shoot in the water at the beach. After the beach photo shoot and Tyra's asking each of the remaining girls why they should continue in the competition, the 13 girls who will be competing for the title of America's Next Top Model were chosen.
