Kuwait is a very beautiful and intriguing country in the Middle East that many travelers frequented. Be fascinated by their customs and traditions. You could officially visit the Grand Mosque. If you are looking for more adventure, you could drive across the desert on quad bikes. Stretch your legs and take a walk on the seaside promenade along their Water Towers. You could also tour inside the Kuwait National Museum or jetski across the waters of the Arabian Gulf Street. Try to spend a whole afternoon in Kuwait's Scientific Centre. The things mentioned earlier sum up to only a few reasons why you should visit Kuwait.
Security and Safety
When traveling in Kuwait, always exercise a great level of security awareness and constant vigilance. The Department of State is concerned about the odds of further terrorist attacks. Such terrorist actions include assassinations, kidnappings, hostage taking, hijacking, and bombings.
There is credible information that indicates these terrorist actions so one must take these actions seriously. It is believed that there are still terrorist attacks against the United States of America interests in North Africa and in the Middle East.
These terrorists may also use non-conventional weapons such as biological or chemical agents, and conventional weapons including explosive devices. In many areas in Kuwait, these explosive devices are considered to be the primary threat. The terrorists also seek softer target areas such as public areas like shopping malls, clubs, hotels, restaurants, residential areas and apartment complexes, public transportation areas, oil-related facilities and personnel, and schools and places of worship.
But these security and safety concerns are taken seriously in Kuwait. There are procedures that the government in Kuwait follow in order to protect the travelers as well as the locals. There are also certain standard operating procedures when terrorist actions take place.
