1. Sing.
Singing taps into the power of the right brain. This is why it is easier to rhyme while singing than while talking. Sing about things you are doing or trying to solve. By doing this, you become a better problem solver.
2. Eat nuts.
Brazil nuts, almonds, and walnuts have amino acids and minerals that are beneficial for the brain.
3.Olive oil.
Olive oil is high in mono-unsaturated fat. Studies have shown that olive oil improves memory. Canola oil is a cheaper option, but very few studies have been done.
4. Vitamin supplements.
Studies show that children on vitamin supplements score higher on tests. It is always stated that people who eat a balanced diet do not need vitamin supplements, however, they are not going to hurt even if your diet is actually balanced.
5. Fiber.
Eating fiber will help clear the body of toxins. This means that "brain fog" will not happen as often as it normally would.
6. Self awareness.
Get to know yourself and how you think. It really does make a difference in brain power. When you come across a problem, you know how you think and you can solve it easier than you would if you did not know these things about yourself.
7. Motivate yourself.
Do not put yourself down. If you really want to do something, figure out ways you can accomplish the task. If you need to, give yourself motivational speeches.
8. Avoid too much stress.
Long term stress damages the brain and the rest of the body. Even short term stress can start to cause damage. There are healthy levels of stress, but if you feel too stressed, do research into stress reducing techniques.
9. Get educated.
The more educated you are, the less likely you are to develop Alzheimer's. The subject does not matter, just educate yourself to keep your brain sharp.
10. Avoid too much fat.
