Money, the Root of All Selfishness: Want to See People Magically Disappear?

Want to see people disappear quicker than the Rapture! Just hint to family or friends you need financial help. Yes, we're the ones "Left Behind". It's amazing, you're that person who was always there for them, went above and beyond the call of duty too many times to count, Yet, there they are, so called "Family" & "Friends", nowhere to be found, when it's your turn to be helped.

I have learned over the too many years to count that I have been on this unpredictable, screwed up planet of ours, that most people are basically selfish. Oh, don't get me wrong they put up a great front. They know how to make Noah believe it really isn't raining. Yes, the Smoozers of life, taking, taking, and taking, and never giving anything back. The good part is, some day their bluff is called, and you see them for what they are, Nothing Much Of Anything. They ride the wave all the way, enjoying every moment, knowing someday they will be found out. Yet, they don't care. To them the "Means" justifies the "Ends". Wow, is that screwed up or what?

I have spent a lifetime around people such as this. Believe me it's no picnic. You wonder if they have any true conception of what real caring is. To them caring is what's EASY. As long as it doesn't inconvenience them, or God Forbid, make them do without, then they're there 100%. Well their 100% is lacking a lot. It reminds me of that poem, which I believe is also in the Bible that says, Love isn't Selfish. Well, obviously, some people haven't read it. It has always amazed me that when the tables are turned, they have no problem expecting that you will help them, No Matter What. After all their worth it. I suppose that means, you or I are not.
