Product Review: AVON Naturals Shower Gel

As a woman I have found that I am extremely partial to luxurious body washes. However, from the beginning I enjoyed shopping around and switching brands. Not because the washes I was trying were not enjoyable, but because they weren’t quite exactly what I was looking for. My favorite scent is vanilla, and I could not find a brand that hit it exactly the same “desserty” way that I desired. For that matter, the sheer lack of scent choices in many brands helped to perpetuate my shopping around. 

Enter AVON Naturals Body Washes. The AVON Naturals line has several desirable features starting with the very wide range of scent choices. The scents range from floral to spice to food scents and beyond. The Naturals line contains many different product choices from body sprays, bath foams, and lotions to my now favorite bath gels. 

My first introduction to the line was through the AVON Naturals Vanilla Shower gel. Each bottle of shower gel is equipped with a handy hook on the top of the bottle which allows the user to hang the bottle conveniently from a towel bar, shower bar or bath caddy. At 5 fluid ounces a pop the bottle appears to be a bit small at first glance. However, once you open it up, just a small dollop creates a luxurious lather that will last the whole way through your shower. 

The vanilla scent is rich and deep, with multiple dimensions of sweetness and spiciness that mellows out into a calming flavor. Once I found this vanilla bath gel, I knew that I would be brand loyal for life. After my vanilla introduction I decided to try some of the other fragrances. Currently lined up in my shower are Lime Blossom and Verbena (a very refreshing summery scent), Cocoa and Lotus Flower (a feminine powdery scent), Lavender and Chamomile (a calming, relaxing scent perfectly suited to a before bed shower), and my old standby Vanilla. I have been very satisfied with all of them and will continue to stock my shower with them as long as they are available.
