Is There Really a Heaven and a Hell?
Heaven is said to be the Kingdom of God. It is said by religion that if you abide by the teachings, you will receive your benefit which is going to heaven after death. There you will be united eternally with God for heaven is the place where God dwells and his angels and all that believe in Him.
According to N.T. Wright, one of the Biblical scholars who researched about heaven from its roots of Jewish time, it was found that Earth and heaven are overlapping or are joined. It is said that heaven can't be reached by human expertise because it is a space or dimension that is the place of God. Heaven is a place where God dwells and reigns while still being active and working as well as communicating alongside people that are on the planet Earth. There is a time where God will restore all things in heaven as well as on Earth. They then will be combined forever as New Heavens and New Earth.
Some Eastern religions as well as Western traditions believe more in reincarnation than heaven. It is said that if you gain karma that is good, you will reincarnate again and live on Earth.
So what is this place called hell? It is said that it is a location where there is something called eternal fire and where people will suffer eternally along with the angels that revolted against God. It is said that hell is the opposite of heaven where people will suffer if they do not do good deeds. Those people that are unrighteous and wicked, will go to live in the eternal fire of hell after living on Earth.
