If I use this, will it make the hair grow back darker?

When I'm on schedule, I use this product weekly (Fri nights/Sat morning). I'm probably, not supposed to, but I almost always leave it on longer than 10mins. But I combact that w/ prepping the area with a generous amount of petroleum jelly. I find that it protects my skin from being irritated. Also, I always make sure to wash the area afterwards. I use Purpose liquid facial cleanser. It is the only thing that won't make the area burn afterwards; do not use regular soap! My only complaint is that it does smell and it's not something that you want others to see you do, so it's important that you find a good block of solo time to do it. Also, as w/ any do it yourself regimen, it's easier to forget compared to a regularly scheduled appt at the salon.

I've tried Nair for facial hair twice now, followed the instructions to the letter, and had no results at all. As far as a can tell, not a single hair was removed. I don't believe my hair is more thick or coarse than most, and I left it on for the maximum recommended time. I guess I can be glad I at least didn't have a reaction to it, but this was a disappointing product for me, and I'll be looking into waxing.

nair has been HORRIBLE for me. As a girl with sensitive skin i used nair for sensitive skin and it leaves my legs on fire and what looks like razor burn on my legs/ allergic reaction. Its embarrassing and now I have to wait until it goes away, MAJOR bummer.
