1. 100 Fruit Loop Necklace
You'll need yarn and a box of fruit loops. Have your child put 100 fruit loops on a piece of yarn. Use a piece of yarn big enough to tie into a necklace when you're done. Most kids enjoy this craft because they get to eat the cereal off their own personal fruit loop necklace after they're done with it for school. To make it more fun for the class, have them count from 1 to 100, one at a time and then eating a fruit loop after they count each number.
2. 100 Piece Puzzles
Places like Walmart and even the Dollare store sell 100 piece puzzles for a low price. You could have your child bring a 100 piece puzzle to school as their 100th thing to bring. Or if you're having your class do this, buy a few 100 piece puzzles and have a group of kids work together to put it together.
3. 100 Paperclips
Clip 100 paperclips together in a chain. If you're doing this at home, have your child clip them together with your help as needed. If you're doing this at school, have each child in your class take turns connecting a paperclip until it equals 100. Then have students line up in a line to see how long it is.
4. Draw a self portrait
Have everyone draw a picture of what they think they'd look like at 100 years old. When they children are finished, collect all the papers and go through the pictures one by one, holding them up and passing them out for all the students to see. To celebrate how everyone thinks they'd look at 100, count out 100 chocolate chips and divvy them up between the students. To make sure that everyone gets the same amount, the teacher should get the extras.
5. 100 Balloon Pop
