This easy and quick scarecrow mask is a fun last minute Halloween mask you can make for you or the kids. This Halloween scarecrow mask is also made from left over materials I bet you already have around the house.

If you wan to make their Halloween scarecrow mask for kids, then use a lunch bag instead of a grocery bag for the mask. This will suit the size of your child's head much better than a large grocery bag.

To Make a Quick Scarecrow Mask You Will Need:

Paper grocery bag
Paints, marks
Scissors
Twine or ribbon

Go ahead and lay your paper bag flat on the table. You want the side with the fold at the bottom to be the inside of the mask.

The flat side should be the face of the scarecrow. You can actually cut off the back side and us that later as hair for the scarecrow mask.

Now, go ahead and cut out eyes holes and a mouth hole eon the mask. You will want ot make sure these line up with your face.

Break out any leftover craft supplies like paint, crayons, and markers to start drawing on the face.

Start with some detail around the eyes. If you cut out small eye holes, then draw on almond shaped eyes on the scare crow mask. You can add eyelashes, and more. Eyebrows are also a great touch for any scarecrow.

Try using some red paint to paint two red circles for the checks of the scarecrow.

The mouth of the scarecrow mask can be inspired by a clown mouth. Outline the mouth about an inch around it in a red or black color. Fill in the inside to the cut opening of the mouth with white paint or markers.

Now, use black paint to draw on black stitches like the mouth was sew on.

To create hair on the Halloween scarecrow mask you can use strips of cut yarn, paper, leftover paper bag, or simply paint it on.

I like to cut out a rectangle of yellow paper as wide as the mask and about five inches tall.

Trim vertical strips in the band.

Cut the hair or bangs at funny angle sand then glue onto the front t of the Halloween scarecrow mask.

You can even cut out a fun hat and glue it on top.

Now, poke a hole in the left and right of the mask and add some twine so you can tie the mask on. If you have paper hole protectors, this is a great idea so you do not rip the Halloween scarecrow mask.
