Kenneth is in the final stages of registering his website and having some touchups done on his wonderful website. He says it will be somewhat like Craig's list, but from what more he tells me this will be so much more. This seems more like a mixture of Craig's List, Conde Nast Traveller, Ebay, and many others combined with a focus towards those who like to go fishing.
It started from the idea of helping fishermen to find places across the United States, and developed more into helping them also to sell things back and forth. Then there was the idea with connecting up with park rangers to find out what times of the year are best in their area for certain kinds of fishing. The more Mr. Callaway and I spoke the more I found out about him wanting to even get families involved with finding the right place to camp close to them or far away.
Then Kenneth told me how he is always meeting people trying to sell their boats, etc. quickly just to pay off their childrens' college tuition. He has a great idea but I didn't see how he could incorporate it all in one website. He told me that he would have a yearly fee to become a member if you want to reseverve a room somewhere, sell your stuff, and so on. I believe he also mentioned having a newsletter, but he will need to hire some willing people to write it for him.
Honestly, I don't see how he has the time to research all of this. I have been trying to help him along with some advice about the site and such, but he seems to be one step ahead of me for the most part.
Keep your browsers peeled for his upcoming site. I believe you will be amazed at what all he will have. Pass the word along, too.
