Product Review: Method Cleaning Products

Method cleaning products are as good for the earth as they are for your home. Each of their products is bio-degradable and most of them are completely non-toxic of non-hazardous. If you are concerned about the environment and the things we wash down into the water supply or are concerned about the chemicals that are introduced into your home, these products may be the perfect solution.

Method “tub + tile” soap scum and stain remover lives up the expectations that you might hold for a much harsher chemical version. Scented with eucalyptus and mint, this spray is available in a 28 fluid ounce spray bottle and cuts through soap scum and dirt with just a wipe of a sponge. Not only does it leave the bathroom smelling like a spa, it keeps harsh chemicals where they belong: out of your house. I have successfully used this cleaner on all porcelain and hard surfaces in our bathrooms. It does a good job cleaning the exposed portions of the toilet bowl and lids, as well as the sink surface. A swipe once a week with the “tub + tile” has been sufficient for keeping the grime at bay.

Method “window wash” is also a very handy alternative to ammonia filled glass and surface cleaners. The window wash handily cleaned my mirrors and windows with no streaking. The window wash also doubles well as a surface cleaner, and leaves behind a nice, clean minty scent. The window was also comes in a 28 fluid ounce spray bottle. All of method’s products are scented with essential oils, so the fragrances are very clean and last without being overpowering.
