Reasons Why Hillary Clinton Will Win the 2008 Presidential Election (If She Runs)
Madame President Clinton: Get Used to It!
I'm going to cut right to the chase. If she decides to run, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will win the 2008 Presidential Election! Now that I've heard your collective moans and groans of displeasure, let me explain why this woman will lay the smack down on any
First impressions are lasting impressions, and regardless of what the stiff-ass, snot-faced, Tucker Carlson look-a-likes say, her first Senatorial debate, with Rick Lazio, proved that she could indeed hang with the boys. I thought the debate marked a significant turning point in Hillary Clinton's political career. I'll even go as far as to say it was a prelude to what we could expect if she ever decided to run for the biggest seat in politics. In looking back, I find it amazing that most men thought Lazio was right to get in her face the way that he did, and most women were totally disgusted by his actions. I guess that says a lot about the widening gap, ideologically, between men and women in this country. I suspect that any Republican challenger she faces in 2008 will not waste time repeating Lazio's mistake. They won't be able to help themselves. It's a man thing.
Prior to the Clinton-Lazio contest, "Meet the Press" host Tim Russert pointed out that Hillary had 59 percent of the female vote, while Lazio had a mere 22 percent. This was no coincidence, and the damage had been done. Lazio's camp had to start plugging up those holes if his political ship was to remain afloat. You had to suspect at some point that Gingrich, known as "Newty G" in the rap world, was somewhere near in a little row boat waiting to throw Lazio a lifeline. Lazio, the poor bastard, went under faster than the Titanic. Political machismo is a beautiful thing, huh Rick?
