The Slipper Coral is a type of hard coral which looks like a huge sea slug covered in spines. It's best when placed at the bottom of your saltwater fish tank. This coral comes in different shades of brown and cream. This is one of the hard corals which is easy to care for as long as you have a good light. It's important to find the best light that you can because this coral will be at the bottom of your fish tank and it's a lot harder to get enough light at the bottom. You can purchase a light online or you can get one from your local pet store.
If you want to purchase the Slipper Coral you will need to keep your salinity at around 1.022 to 1.026. You will also need to keep your temperature at somewhere around 72 to 76 degrees. You will need to place a heater in the tank and keep the tank at roughly 72 degrees all the time. To keep the tank from getting too warm you will want to set up your light to come on with a timer. You will want the light on no more than 6 hours per day in order to give the Slipper Coral enough light but stay away from algae problems.
