Halo 3 without a doubt is one of the most popular online games ever but it can also be one of the most frustrating games you ever play. Now before I get bashed saying I'm just bad at the game, well no I'm bad but I'm not anything legendary either. I normally have really good rounds where I go 20 and 5 or even 48 and 6 in one match but it comes down to a lot of things that can upset you. In all my life I would have to say playing Halo online is very fun but at the same time one of the most frustrating things I've ever played. Before I go any further, these are not glitches or bugs that I'm talking about but it's people such as teammates and so on that cause annoyances so here are some aspects that can make Halo 3 downright annoying.

My biggest thing is having teammates that either don't have a microphone or just choose not to talk. It can be frustrating when going to grab the flag or plant the bomb with a mute and then getting ambushed after he does and never getting warned about the oncoming onslaught. I love playing matches where my teammates will actually acknowledge that there are lots of people guarding the target area so I can plan a different entry point. I can understand playing Halo 3 on slayer without a microphone since that's mostly a trash talk session anyways but in team objective matches it always pays to have a microphone since teams that communicate will have a much better chance of winning.

Another annoyance of Halo 3 is having a teammate or teammates that just don't care to play but they still have to be in a game anyways. I've had tons of team slayer matches where teammates just drove around in a mongoose the whole time without killing a single person. It's people like these that I just don't understand. Is their life that boring they have to get online just to mess around and annoy other people? I've actually had people that get mad for losing and they end up killing like one guy while me and my buddy get 15 kills a piece. This why having a party with 4 or more people that you know is always better than a party of random people. Having friends with this game is a big bonus alone even if they are not that great. You at least know they are trying.
