Tip Number One:
Plan ahead. Always start at least two weeks early to make sure that everyone gets invited and that everything you need gets purchased. Not giving yourself time to plan is always the problem with parties failing. If you think that two weeks is just not enough time for you to come up with everything you need for a great party then spend a little more time with it and make it a lot of fun!
Tip Number Two:
Let your guests know in advance. It is always a good idea to send out invitations early and hope that everyone is able to make it. If you wait until the last minute to send your guests their invitations they might have other things to do and will not be able to make it, and worse someone else might have already planned a Halloween party and everyone else was already invited. Another good reason to send out invitations early is to prepare other's of what they might need to bring to help you and your party out. Make sure on the invitation that you put a date that they need to let you know if they are able to come by, this way you do not go out and purchase too many things for people that are not able to come. If you need your guests to bring something along with them to the party put that in the invitation to so they are able to go out and make that important purchase before the big date.
