Make an indoor snowman on those days when you are staying indoors. When winter comes sometimes the weather is too bad to go outside and play. On those really bad weather days the kids need something to do to bread the monotony of being indoors all day. Making a homemade indoor snowman can help to give the kids something fun to do and when they are done it is a nice winter decoration to display in your home.

Making an indoor snowman is easy and fun. All you need to make an indoor snowman are two paper plates, construction paper, a scissors, glue and a stapler. Then let your child go and see how creative they can be. If your child is small you may want to help them with the stapler and the scissors.

Begin by taking one of the paper plates and cutting off the rim to make it smaller then the other paper plate. This paper plate will be the head of your snowman. Take the stapler and staple the small paper plate onto the rim of the complete paper plate.

Then you can take construction paper and cut it out for the eyes, nose and mouth for you to glue onto the face of your snowman. You can also use the construction paper to make a hat of any color, some black boots and mittens for your snowman. You can also make accessories for your snowman like a broom, shovel or axe. Let your child's imagination make the snowman their own.

Your kids can get very creative making their indoor snowman to look any way they want to. If you have glitter or other small decorations like buttons, ribbon or sequins you can use them on the indoor snowman as well.

Let your child make as many indoor snowmen as they want. You can use them to decorate your home for the winter. Hang them on your refrigerator or your closet. These indoor snowmen can decorate any room in your home. You can even hang one on your outside door.

Making homemade indoor snowmen is simple and easy. It does not cost much to make these fun snowmen and you can have them hanging around for decoration.

Grandparents, friends and other relatives would enjoy getting one of these snowmen from your child. The snowmen make great gifts for children to give to the people in their lives.
