Frequently Asked Questions About the Mormons and the Beliefs of Latter-Day Saints

This is Part II of a series of informative religious articles designed to educate the world about the unique beliefs, traditions and ideas of the Mormon faith. A Disclaimer

As mentioned in the first article in this series, this is neither a Christian article nor a Mormon article. Unlike many anti-Mormon literature you may find in your bookstore or on the Internet-and there is a lot of that-all attempts have been made to be fair, truthful and accurate in the presentation of the theology and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sole purpose of this article is to introduce non-Mormons to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, their unique beliefs and what it is that makes them different from other faiths...including Christianity. One reader of the first article, Chris Schultz, accused the article of being unfair, saying that "[y]ou can never convey a belief through regurgitating facts (inaccurate ones at that). [The] article shows the world's view on the LDS faith, but it does not give a balanced view."
