A Disclaimer
As mentioned in the first article in this series, this is neither a Christian article nor a Mormon article. Unlike many anti-Mormon literature you may find in your bookstore or on the Internet-and there is a lot of that-all attempts have been made to be fair, truthful and accurate in the presentation of the theology and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sole purpose of this article is to introduce non-Mormons to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, their unique beliefs and what it is that makes them different from other faiths...including Christianity. And if you, yourself, are a Mormon, please feel free to join in on the discussion.
One reader of the first article, Chris Schultz, accused the article of being unfair, saying that "[y]ou can never convey a belief through regurgitating facts (inaccurate ones at that). [The] article shows the world's view on the LDS faith, but it does not give a balanced view."
