Many have probably seen the program "The Secret" on Oprah Winfrey's show. This concept referred to as "The Secret" is spreading massively throughout the world. Everyone is talking about it. They are talking about it in the grocery stores, in the school system and even in the corporate world. People want to know what is the secret? How do I manage to flow into this positive realm or way? Is it even possible? Yes, it is possible. However, this new revelation is not necessarily new. This revelation has actually been here for decades.

The bible has been teaching this belief or concept for decades. Many Christians have heard this theory taught in church for years now. That is, in the sense of thinking positively in your mind because the bible teaches, "As a man thinks in his heart...so is he". In other words, you will produce in the natural and become what you sincerely believe and think. If you are a faith based person or a Christian, for example, you will hear words like, "Speak to your dead situation", "Call in those things that are in the spirit realm so it can be made flesh" or words from the Christian bible, "We walk by faith and not by sight" and to "speak those things which are not as though they were." "The Secret" teaches concepts in relation to what's taught in the word of God. Christian believers and even other faiths have been implementing positive thinking for a long time. Therefore, it really is no secret, but more like a revelation to many.

If you have positive parents or relatives like I have, you may have heard statements like "You will have what you say", "If you see yourself as a failure you will become a failure" and so on. Parents have been teaching their children to be positive in their thinking for a long time as well helping us to build our self image and helping us to be more optimistic.

As a child, we used to watch the show or read about the little train that said "I think I can, I think I can" until the little train said "I can, I can." This is the same concept as "The Secret."
