Traveling with Baby on Short Trips

Well, hi to everyone. I am a devoted mother to my children, and love my kids dearly. But one thing, I totally dred, is traveling in the car with them! It isn't the fact of them per say, it's the fact of having to get everything just right, to go around the corner to the store. I hope this helps at least one person out their, as sometimes, I still find myself saying, "We have to go to the store for what?" lol.

One thing that I have found to do, is get your babies, dressed first. Then, feed them. Change them. This is very important, MAKE SURE BABY HAS BEEN WELL RESTED!! Nothing, sucks more than having a cranky, whinny baby, it brakes your heart to see them cry, then sometimes, it gets aggrivating, because you can't fix it, in the middle of getting, something off a shelf, you can't leave baby in the baby section, that has those nice display baby beds, even though your thinking (I wonder how much would the store hate it, if I just borrow this bassinet, I think it may fit in the buggy-lol).

From experiences, I tend to know ahead that if we have an event, such as grocrie shopping ahead of us for tommorrow. I will get up before the kids, get there clothes out, get myself dressed, make the diaper bag, put the diaper bag in the car, make there breakfast, with diaper and bottle in hand, wake them up, so it lessen's the crying and whinning that may come. I also tend to eat before I wake them up also, alot easier ( I may even get to enjoy the news, and a cup of coffee, if I'm lucky with out a tug on the leg, a whale of a cry, or a momma what u doing ( a trillion x's they must ask that question, even after you may have told them 30,000 times before)lol).
