Women Pushing the Men Out of Sports?

Have you ever wondered why football players wear such tight pants? Have you ever wondered why every camera on the field is always pointed at all the players asses? Does it ever seem like the sport is trying to catch the eyes of the female variety? Boys, have you started to feel like your side of the couch is getting smaller on game night?
Well, according to recent national surveys, women account for more than 40% of all NFL fans. Keep in mind that those surveys do not include the wives of the players. Can you believe that? 40% of all NFL fans are women.
And women, who do we have to thank for making almost half of the NFL fans women? Well, lets think for a moment. How many of us girls were the only child to a father that wanted a son? I know I was and he tried to teach me everything he knew about all the sports. Which needless to say for my father he didn't know all that much about anything at all. At least thats what I thought. We also have our high school sweethearts to thank for beginning our interests. How many of us had a boyfriend that was in football? Or how many of us thought that the guys on the football team in high school were cute? Me! I sure did. And I didn't have a crush on the quarter back either. I think I might have been the only one that didn't. But being a die hard fan for the high school team started this revolution. A revolution to change the outlook of all sports. Traveling to the away games and going to all the home games, that is what started it all. We may have not paid attention to the game starting out. But we were there and we were watching everything that went on.
Slowly and surely we women started to pay more and more attention to all the games and the calls that were going on. The bad call and the good calls. The off start and nose tackles. Unnecessary roughness, unsportsmanlike conduct, holding, interference. We women started to buff up on our knowledge. By the time we graduated from high school and went on to college we had begun to pay as close attention to the game as the boys do. After all the college games had started to be even more competitive than we ever knew about in High school. The travel increased and the fans grew louder.
