Why He Came
My Salvation
He tried to show them a better way, he tried at every cost.
He spoke of love and kindness, even total peace.
Told them to love their enemies, and everyone they meet.
He didn't believe in violence, only Love He said
People thought him crazy, most just wanted him dead.
So they planned to kill this crazy man acting like a clown.
How can one turn the other cheek with killers all around.
So they laid a trap to catch him, and he never tried to run.
He knew that this would happen from the time that he had come.
It was a friend betrayed him, betrayed him with a kiss.
The man just smiled and told him, I'll still love you after this.
They took him to a hill, Golgotha was it's name.
Hung him on a tree and said, he was the one to blame.
He gave his life for many, and many did not care.
They laughed and they made fun of him, not one was there to share.
The agony the man went through, while hanging on that tree.
He hurt, he moaned, and I finally see, he was doing this for me.
Just call out now to JESUS, say forgive me for my sin.
Jesus will forgive you, and let you start again.
Call on Jesus Now, He's waiting just for you!
