Saturday, October 6, 2007: 73rd Annual Berkshire Harvest Festival

The 73rd Annual Berkshire Harvest Festival is a true community festival that celebrates locally-grown and harvested foods from the Berkshires. The festival also includes works by many crafters, artists and artisans.

There are plenty of events for the kids including pony rides and hay rides, Hay Rides, animal exhibits, mini golf, and much more.

Adults will enjoy live entertainment, and Reggie's Famous Giant Two-Day Tag Sale.

The 73rd Annual Berkshire Harvest Festival is held form 10am until 5pm at the Berkshire Botanical Garden is located at the intersection of Routes 102 and 183 in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, 01262. For more information call (413) 298-3926 or send an email to info@berkshirebotanical.org.

The Quaboag Paddle: October 6, 2007

Paddle a canoe (rent or byoc) up the East Brookfield Rivers & Quaboag rivers for a six to nine mile trek. This is a guided tour. If you don't have a canoe, contact White's Landing to see if they have any left to rent. Their phone number is 508 867-5561. The Quaboag Paddle takes begins at White's Landing,Route 148, 7 Fiskdale Road, in Brookfield , Massachusetts. Please RSVP with George Miller by sending an email to gidgemiller@yahoo.com.

Apple Country Fair: October 6, 2007

The 29th annual Apple Country Fair starts at 10am on Saturday, and runs until 4pm. The fair is held rain or shine. Enjoy the animal exhibits, and shop the artisans wares, take a hayride, and enjoy the refreshments.
