Mugen Site: Bane84's Mugen Creations

Some people believe quantity is better than quality when it comes to Mugen. Instead of hunting down good content, they like to hoard as many characters as possible. Those people probably wouldn't care about a small site like Bane84's Mugen Creations, but they should.

The site features four Mortal Kombat style characters(real people instead of cartoon sprites). Also you have Ryu Hayabusa, Sora, Mike Tyson and Team Nicktoons. The trueley impressive creations come in the form of retro games playable via Mugen.

Youtube users have probably seen M.Bison rip through Super Mario Bros Stage 1-1. While it is only the first level, It does a great job of showing how flexable the Mugen game engine really is. While created soley for fighting games, you are not limited to only that particular genre.

Other games include the first level of Contra, Super Mario Land and a shooting range. Again, none of these are complete games as of this writing. Hopefully Bane84 will attempt to continue these projects in the future. Its nice to see a creator try something different.

While this Mugen site does not feature a ton of content, what it does contain is pretty special. It should be interesting to see just what else Bane84 has planned. As long as he does not lose interest, he may push the Mugen engine to another level.
