Whether they're singing about "76 Unknowns on the Campaign Trail" or rapping in variant Pig Latin about "Lirty Dies," the Capitol Steps consistently captures all that is laughable in Washington, D.C. politics and most often delivers it with a familiar melody. It's no wonder the Capitol Steps have achieved excellence in composing and singing biting political satire; they've been doing it since 1981. From their beginnings as lowly Senate staff assigned to produce a skit for the annual Christmas party, the Capitol Steps have grown into a professional comedy troupe that performs regularly in Washington, D.C. and occasionally in venues throughout the United States.

Almost any Friday or Saturday evening, the Capitol Steps entertains DC regulars and tourists alike in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20004, conveniently accessible by the Washington Metro's Federal Triangle stop. The largest building in Washington and the only Federal building dedicated to combined government and private use, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is a sight to see in itself. It houses glamorous conference, dining and entertainment spaces as well as a food court. Capitol Steps patrons who have never seen the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center before will certainly want to plan time for exploration, taking care not to miss the segment of the Berlin Wall permanently displayed in honor of the former President's encouragement of German reunification. The theatre where the Capitol Steps perform is comfortable and classy, small enough and designed efficiently enough so that no matter where a patron is seated, he can be confident of his ability to see and hear the performers.

This is the best attraction in D.C.! They should put them on C-Span instead of Congress.
