If you are new to eBay you will want to know that eBay keeps track of your feedback. At the top of the eBay page, you will see your eBay name that you signed up with. Next to it, you will have a number in parenthesis. This number shows how many items that you've bought and sold on eBay. Before people buy items from you they will probably check your feedback to make sure that there haven't been any problems. The longer you keep your account and the better your feedback score the higher possibility that you will sell items. People usually don't want to sell items to people with a feedback score of 0.

Once you have purchased or bought and item and the whole transaction is done and over with, you will be required to leave feedback. You can go to the section with the persons name and go over to the right hand side. They will have options that say, mark item as shipped, mark payment received, leave feedback, etc. This is what you will need to click on in order to leave feedback for the person that you are dealing with at this point.

Every transaction will have the chance for a feedback response. If you just started and you have negative feedback, this is not a good situation. People will probably cancel your bids and not let you buy items. People will also purchase items from you because they don't want to get ripped off. The best thing to do is pay in a timely manner and make contact with the buyer or seller. You want to get good feedback and keep your eBay account for as long as possible.

I hate the upcoming feedback changes for eBay sellers. eBay sellers won't be able to leave negative feedback EVER starting in May 2008 but buyers will be able to leave negative feedback for them. So unfair.
