Pushing Daisies premiered on ABC Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in the 8:00 p.m. time slot. Pushing Daisies started telling of how the mild-mannered baker who can bring things back to life since he was a young boy, What brings this show to point of Dead Like Me and John Doe is that Ned, played by Lee Pace, can bring back those from the dead. However, a private investigator, Emerson Cod played by Chi McBride, learns of Ned's unique ability.
Emerson wants Ned to help him bring back those who died under suspicious circumstances to find out who killed them. The trick is that Ned is a bit leery of using his powers in such a manner.
Ned's first inception with a suspicious death circumstance is with a female he had known during his childhood. While Ned was able to find out how and who had killed his childhood friend, Ned still found himself in a quandary.
To touch or not to touch should be Ned's motto in Pushing Daisies. Watch it and decide for yourself if this new fall show should stay or go.
