Are you a scare freak? Do you love the rush of adrenaline you get when watching horror movies? Planning a scary movie night? With the vast array of horror movie choices this Halloween, it's sometimes hard to pick out the best ones. Hopefully this list will help with that choice.

For those who like a dose of laughs with their horror, these movies are for you:

25. Shaun of the Dead (2004)-A film that parodies the many zombie flicks that have invaded the cinema over the years. The movie, however, is so much more than this. It combines great writing, directing and acting with not only horror and comedy, but social parody and even a touch of romance. The story revolves around Shaun (Simon Pegg), an average male who has fallen into the trap of routine humdrum life. He works at a dead end job and shares a apartment with a deadbeat roommate Ed (Nick Frost). When his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) dumps him because of his lack of ambition, he truly cannot understand why. He is so complacent and unaware that he fails to notice that his town has been overrun by flesh eating zombies. Suddenly, he is forced into action to save the lives of those closest to him.

24. Evil Dead II (1987)-A popular cult flick, this sequel/remake far surpasses the original. With the hilarious team of director Sam Raimi and B-actor Bruce Campbell, the movie doesn't take itself too seriously, providing a number of laughs, as well as a few good scares. The film picks up the storyline from the first movie with Ash (Campbell) taking his girlfriend Linda to a cabin in the woods and plays back a professor's tape recorded recitation of passages from the Book of the Dead. The reading accidentally calls up a evil force from the woods, which takes over Linda, forcing Ash to kill her. When the professor's daughter arrives with some friends, Ash is forced to spend another night in the cabin where the thing in the darkness vows that they will be -- Dead By Dawn. For added comic relief, watch the movie with commentary.
