Not a Lindsay Lohan Rumor: She Has Left Rehab - According to the Associated Press, on Friday, October 5, 2007, actress Lindsay Lohan, 21, checked out of the rehab center which she entered in August.

Lindsay Lohan was seen leaving the exclusive and private drug and alcohol treatment center, the Cirque Lodge, with her father, according to People Magazine.

"I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life," Lindsay Lohan's mother told People Magazine. "Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

According the AP, this was Lindsays Lohan's third trip to the rehab center. Her previous trips to the center were prompted by multiple arrests, car crashes, and car chases, which sound like they're more out of a Herbie the Love Bug gone bad movie, than from a popular star.'

Before entering the treatment center for the third time, Lindsay Lohan released a statement via her publicist in which she said, "It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs."

What's Next for Lindsay Lohan

According to People Magazine, Lindsay Lohan is going to spend give days at a "remote lodge in the Utah mountains" with her father, as part of her recovery.

Some have said this is the end for Lindsay Lohan's movie career, but that seem a bit harsh. She is a talented actress and entertainer, and her career will go on, just as Drew Barrymore's did after her similar bouts with drugs and alcohol.

According to People Magazine Lindsay Lohan, who took tango lessons while in rehab, will soon begin filming her next movie, Dare to Love Me.

People also reports that Lohan is planning to return to acting soon and will start filming the tango movie "Dare to Love Me" in Los Angeles on October 15, 2007. The movie set in the "seedy underworld of 1920s Buenos Aires" (IMDB) is set to open sometime in 2008.
