Romance is something we all strive for. We as females want to be romanced by the guys we go out with, whereas we as males wish to romance the women we date, so they will fall in love with us. Of course, there are some females who want to be the ones dishing out the romance, and some males who wish to be romanced, but anyway you look at it, romance is big in America.

Dating is one thing that's supposed to be romantic. People are desperately searching for new ways to make dates more romantic. The gammut runs anywhere from candelit dinners prepared by your loved one to extravagant cruises designed to romance you every day and night for a week! Whatever the idea, it just needs to come from the heart.

So, what do you do if you want to have a romantic date? Let me rephrase that. What do you do if you want to have a romantic and interesting date, but you can't come up with anything romantic and interesting to do?

Here are the top ten ideas for a romantic and interesting date this fall. Take advantage of them!

1. Fall brings us Halloween. This is the perfect chance to do something romantic, but also fun. Invite your date to go trick or treating. If you have a good costume, noone will know you're really too old to be doing it. And, do you really care? As long as you can get some free treats. I personally would really love to go trick or treating with a date- it means the person has put some thought and originality behind the date, instead of the usual movie theme.

2. Halloween also can mean costume parties! The romantic thing to do would be to dress up as a couple, such as Romeo and Juliet, to make for a romantic evening. This means to your date that you want to be romantic with them!

3. Fall brings us beautifully colored changing leaves. We get shades of orange, red and yellow, and seeing these leaves brings romance to mind. A romantic date idea would be to take your date on a walk somewhere where the leaves are turning, such as through the park or on a hiking trail.
