Long have we stumbled blindly from her grace.
Flight on unseen wings, are they really there?

The hawk soars on high, energy expended.
Looking for roots and a presence of self.
Long suffering for acceptance, whose name is sought.
Fear limiting a search of soul.

The forest, timeless and forever of the ages.
Long has expectant solitude shrouded our hearts.
Long have we danced on the edge of knowledge.

The tide never ceases its cleansing of shores.
We forever search.
One and many.
Alone and together with fire in spirit.

The tired hawk.
The lonely forest.
The relentless tide.

We grasp at the power of love and self.
Beauty is found in the search.
Fantasy and dreams forever bound.
Skin bathed in moonlight glow.
Searching what we need to know.
