LeAnn Rimes is one of the most successful country artists in recent memory. She has sold more than 37 million records and has the longest charting song on the Billboard charts at 69 weeks for How Do I Live? Recently though, her success has not been as strong. Her previous few albums have not reached the success as her earlier albums. Back with a new outlook on life, LeAnn is back with Family. The album features more than just LeAnn's pretty voice as she penned many of the tracks on the album. Will Family be able to catapult LeAnn back to superstardom?

The first single off of Family is Nothin' Better To Do. The song is definitely more traditional country. The song gets away from pop-country and appeals to country purists. The song should help LeAnn appeal better to her target market.

The second single off of Family is What I Cannot Change. The song is more pop-country. The track is definitely a melodic ballad which showcases LeAnn's beautiful voice. The song is incredibly easy on the ears. The song is simple and this is good because it showcases the powerful lyrics. The song is extremely personal and talks about the trials and tribulations of being LeAnn Rimes.

Doesn't Everybody is another commercial country/pop-rock song. The track almost sounds like early pop John Mayer. The track is extremely catchy and has definite radio potential.

I Want You With Me is another standout track. The song features LeAnn's strong vocals over a beautiful acoustic guitar driven track.

Also featured on the album are two bonus tracks. The first is Till We Aren't Strangers Anymore which is a duet with rock group Bon Jovi. The song is featured on Bon Jovi's album Lost Highway which came out earlier this year. The song is incredibly catchy and one of the better tracks on the album.

The other bonus track is When You Love Someone Like That which is a duet with country legend Reba McEntire. The song is featured on Reba's recently released album Reba: Duets. The song is solid but not as good as the other bonus track.
