To improve your chances, slap the walls with a fresh coat of paint and seal those windows against the frigid winter air.

You should also remember that if you try to sell your home during the holiday season, you will probably feel rushed to complete the transaction, and the buyer will feel the same way. The holidays are a time for love and family and religious celebration, but they are also a time of stress and frustration. Rather than putting yourself in a tight spot, trying to sell your home, look for a real estate agent and meet with potential brokers.
