For the Woman in Your Life
There are lots of ways to win a woman's heart. Respecting her family and friends is always a good start and, of course, respecting her is an absolute must. Some women like flowers. Others like candy. For me, a teddyDon't automatically jump to the idea of diamonds, however. As odd as it might sound, diamonds are not always the best gemstone gift. Some women prefer a little thought behind a gift, even when you are talking about gems.
Instead, do a little research into the language of gemstones. Various gems, after all, carry different meanings so, if you really want to worm your way into the heart of the woman of your dreams, choose the right one.
Perhaps you aren't even after her heart per se. Maybe you simply want to let her know how much she means to you or maybe you are wishing a lady friend good look on a new endeavor. Better still, maybe you just want to offer a special gift to a very special woman in your life. Let's explore the language of gemstones to see how they might help you find the right gift for the right woman with the right sentiment in mind.
Amethyst is the gemstone of peace and, for that reason alone, it should be used far more often than it is. I sometimes think sisters should exchange amethyst on a regular basis. But it is also a stone meant to remind us to take one day at a time and to live life to the fullest. That is always a great message to send to anyone who has experienced hardship or ill health.
Aquamarine is believed to have the power to calm and soothe, which makes the perfect gem to choose when you are trying to express sympathy. It is also represents harmony and tolerance, making it the perfect gemstone to assure a long and happy marriage. However, because of its various qualities, it is also a wonderful gift for a friend.
Citrine represents both health and youth. If your relationship is in its early stages, a citrine may well fit the bill for establishing initial guidelines of friendship or something more. It is also a perfect way to wish someone that you care about, the gift of eternal good health.
