The simple pine cone and candle centerpiece is perfect for a Fall wedding, the Thanksgiving dinner table, or even your coffee table in the fall. There is no hard and fast rule that Fall flowers have to be used in a Fall wedding centerpiece.

Pinecones are super cheap, sometimes free, and can last without wilting. So take advantage of the easy natured and beautiful pine cone and create a wonderful romantic fall wedding centerpiece on a budget!

Let your bridesmaids each take home one of these Fall wedding pinecone centerpieces for their own dinner table this fall! Who knows, maybe they will have you and your new husband over for dinner when you head back from the old Honey moon!

To Make This Fall Wedding Pinecone centerpiece You Will Need:

Fall colored candles

Pine cones

Clear glass platter

When looking for fall colored candles you can use yellow, gold, orange, green, or a rusty red. Cream colored candles also blend well.

We will be using pillar candles in this Fall candle centerpiece, like you see in the photo. If you need to use tapered candles, then try to use all candle holders that are the same color. If you can use clear candle holders, that is even better. They will disappear being the pine cones.

You can find pine cones in the yard of course, but if you do not have time to walk around the yard before you Fall wedding, you have a few other options.

Check you your local home improvement store or craft store. I find backs of pine cones in all sizes. The great thing about using a bag of pine cones is that they travel well, you will get pine cones in better shape, and you save a ton of time.

Now, lay the clear glass platter in the center of yoru wedding reception table. If you want a touch of elegance try using a silver platter.

Now, arrange your fall colored pillar candles in the middle. They can be grouped in a n odd number or even lined up in a row. This is the step where you want to follow the general shape of your clear glass platter and really mimic it.

To create interest in this simple Fall wedding centerpiece you can choose fall colored pillar candles in different colors, heights and widths.
