October's Haunted Happenings in North Georgia

If you are a fan of the Blair Witch Project, then the Trail Of Doom is a place you will want to visit this month.

The Trail Of Doom will take you on a walk deep into the woods in rural Murray County, after dark, of course. Rope lights, decorations, and tall black walls will keep patrons on the trail. A guide carrying a small lantern will lead the way, but that small lantern won't deter the antics of the spooks in the woods.

The Trail Of Doom will take you through scene after scary scene-a woodsy cemetery, real wooden coffin, real hangman's noose. It is said that there are demented individuals roaming around in those dark, eerie woods. Scarecrows, ghostly clowns, and someone or something has a chain saw....

The Trail Of Doom will be every Friday and Saturday during the month of October from 8pm till midnight. Admission is $7 per person.

Directions- From I-75, take the north Dalton bypass to Highway 76. Left on Hwy 76 to Chatsworth. In Chatsworth, turn left onto 411 at Hardee's. At the 2nd red light in Eton, turn right onto CCC Camp Road. Go 1 mile and turn left onto FloodTown Road. Go about 2 miles, then turn right onto Mountain Crest Road. The Trail Of Doom is located to the right of the fork in the road.

Little River Haunted Corn Maze in Resaca has added new scenes to the maze as well as to the 3 mile path that leads to the maze.
