I hear it over and over, "This program is a rip-off. What a scam this was! Is there anything on the internet that isn't a fraud?"

I know if you've you've done any marketing at all, you've heard it too. Heck, you've probably said it yourself. So when the next great thing comes along you approach it with a jaded attitude. It's probably healthier that way in terms of your sanity and your wallet. I can't say as I blame you.

Working with several programs through the years it has become clear to me that the success of a newbie to a great extent and the veteran marketer, to some extent, can directly attribute his or her success in a particular foray into the world of internet marketing by the support received from one's direct sponsor or up-line. This holds true for most programs in the internet arena of sales. Regardless of the program and experience level, a direct sponsor can guide, instruct, and offer tips to make his or her down-line successful and productive. In a program that pays time and again, this is the only correct way to manage a team. Without this approach, your team will consist of only one person...YOU!

With that in mind here are a few of the items I look for before joining a "team."

1) Does the person sponsoring the page have a real name? If there's only a username, some cutesy pie handle that calls attention to itself, I usually pass. I want to know if the person I'm dealing with is real. If the person is hiding behind an alias I usually move on to playing some computer golf game after quickly hitting the delete button.
