I seen this commercial for Maybelline Lash Stylist Comb Mascara and was instantly curious about this new trend of using a comb instead of the usual brush to apply mascara.

On the commercials the girls’ lashes looked amazingly long and completely separated, not clumpy, and perfectly shaped. Now I know that commercials exaggerate in order to sell their products, but when I finally got myself some of this crazy mascara I tried it, and at first I was thrown off by the comb and wasn’t really sure what I was doing, but after a few tries I figured the best way for myself to put the mascara on, and how it looked best on me, and let me tell you, my lashes haven’t ever been this beautiful.

I was impressed at how the right technique and patience made such an amazing difference at the appearance of my lashes. I’ve always had really long lashes, and they are manageable, they curl when I use my eyelash curler, and I can sweep them at an angle when I put the Maybelline Lash Stylist Comb Mascara for a sexy cat eye appearance, or I can sweep them straight up for a innocent wide-eyed look, either way, the Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara is amazing for my new look, not only does it completely separate my lashes for a more full appearance, it also give my lashes some super volume and length so my lashes look, fuller, longer, and more beautiful every time I use Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara.

Now everyone I’ve had try Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara have all agreed that the first time using it is the hardest, the comb is a throw-off if you are used to using a brush mascara. But the key is to find just the right angle to hold your comb when applying Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara, if you hold it at certain angles, you will end up applying more mascara and it will end up in a clump, if that happens, try to turn the comb a little in the other direction, and quickly comb through the clump of lash you’ve created, that should either separate your lashes, or it could completely ruin it and leave a mess that you have to wash and re-try *smiles* (that happened to me).

Takeaways
  • Get a fuller, open-eyed look
  • New V comb styling feature
  • Removes easily with soap and water, or make up remover
Did You Know?
each time you use this mascara, the better and better you become at putting it on

The Lash Stylist mascara is for people who want cakey globby lashes, it is disgusting. I have full long lashes myself. This mascara is so clumpy and so gloppy, I mean I was so mad! Who the hell thought of this no brush invention? The brush is there for a reason people, to coat your lashes without it looking like black street tar is smeared and caked all over your lashes. Everyone I talked to that tried this said it was so gross and we all wonder why it was invented.
