2. Keep An Assured Clear Distance
Rear-end another vehicle while you're driving on the roads, and you'll be cited for not keeping an "assured clear distance." Follow another customer too closely with a shopping cart and you run the risk of clipping their heels. Not a good thing to do! Those metal carts hurt when they're run into human flesh.
