When classified documents are 25 years old, they become de-classified. This article will help you to retrieve U.S. government documents that once were classified. These include letters, reports, background checks, military operations, cold war, government surveillance and much more. National Government Archives has recently de-classified government documents that include genealogy records, veteran records, State Department and diplomacy, World War II records, native Americans, black Americans, Bankruptcy records, holocaust era assets, JFK assassination and more. National Security Agency has recently de-classified government documents that include Gulf of Tonkin, U.S.S. Liberty, VENONA, Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis, Unidentified Flying Objects, John F. Kennedy Assassinations and Truman Memorandum. www.nsa.gov/public/publi00003.cfm
