N.A.D.A. Appraisal Guides is the world's largest provider of pricing and specifications information for new and used cars, trucks, SUVs, boats, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, RVs, motorcycles, and almost any other item that has wheels. NADA has been providing information to consumers for 74 years, and now it has released its Top 10 list of 2008 model vehicles that scored high in inclement driving conditions and that are equipped with plenty of cold weather equipment.

2008 Audi A4 Sedan - NADA's favorite
$28,900 Base MSRP
The Audi A4 Sedan has an optional Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system that provides excellent handling in bad weather conditions. You can also get heated front and rear seats, a removable ski rack, retractable headlight washers, all season tires, rain sensors, and heated exterior mirrors.

2008 Cadillac STS
$42,390 Base MSRP
Luxury goes a long way when you add all-wheel drive, all-speed traction control, a computerized stability control system, and ABS brakes with brake assist. Throw in the rear-window defroster, a heated exterior rearview mirror and a remote vehicle starter system for when you want the car warm before you leave your house, and you are ready for winter woes to disappear.

2008 Chevy Tahoe
$34,095 Base MSRP
The AutoTrac system and 4-wheel drive make the Tahoe a strong candidate for adjusting to different winter road conditions. Emergency maneuvers are improved by the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control system. Enjoy less winter hassles with equipment like halogen fog lamps, a remote vehicle starter system, and heated exterior mirrors.

2008 Ford F-150
$17,345 Base MSRP
The real backwoods outdoorsman will appreciate the Ford F-150's optional snowplow prep package and the largest towing capacity in its class. The 4-wheel drive super snow vehicle has a rear window defroster, meted exterior mirrors, fog lamps, and rack-and-pinion steering behind the 4.6-liter Triton V8 engine.

I see NADA didn't name my vehicle in the list. :>) If I could pick one from the NADA list, tho, it'd be that fine Jeep Wrangler!

Thanks for sharing the results of this NADA report. I would love an Audi A4 Sedan. I would feel very safe in that car. The only thing I could think about affording right now is the Jeep, which kind of suprises me making the list. (But I was imagining the old style jeep.) Saving this for future reference. Thanks.

That is for sure an interesting list. I happen to drive a Hyundai Tuscon. You seldom see them advertised but they are super cars. When I asked why they don't advertise them more at the dealership they said because they are more expensive and most people don't want to pay that much for a six cylinder car. Why don't they ever include six cylinder cars in their surveys I wonder?
