As more and more main stream outlets discover the benefits of natural remedies the more truth that is discovered about these methods. Also as manufacturers and advertisers discover the profitability of natural remedies, it becomes easier and easier for the regular consumer to be led down the wrong path. Large health stores, grocery stores, pharmacies and even the large warehouse clubs have gotten into the act due to the popularity of natural remedies. In this the second part of our discussion on natural remedies we will discuss the natural cures everyone can do without becoming a naturopath.

Health as most Americans know comes from the doctor or is based on family history. While regular checkups and strong, healthy family history is helpful, the environment, both physical and mental, has the largest influence on our health. Every time a sniffle or cough, headache or muscle pain afflicts someone in the western world we reach for the phone to call the doctor or look for a pill to take without taking a look at the cause for aches and pains. We associate cures with the alleviation of symptoms. All illness and pain humans experience comes from either stress or toxins. Stress comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes, while toxins can come in anything.

The human body requires a certain amount of stress to accomplish anything, the trick is to manage the stress in your life so that it will works for good and does not cause an illness. However, when it comes to toxins the less the better. Natural remedies and holistic health practices work to bring the body, the mind and the spirit into harmony.
