Product Review: Axe Snake Peel Bath and Shower Gel
Axe products are well known for their unique scents and appeal to the younger consumer. With corporate advertising aimed at younger males, there are suggestions that the use of Axe products will mystically lead to romantic interludes with young ladies. This, is of course, a marketing
attempt to appeal to a broader demographic than the athletes who have primarily been the major purchasing force for the product, especially in the earl years. However, with the introduction of the Snake Peel bath and shower gel to the line up of bath products, Axe has perhaps tapped a demographic they were not specifically focused upon.
Axe Snake Peel is a blend of cactus oils and desert minerals and is combined with a pleasing fragrance resulting in a product which not only appeals to younger consumers, but perhaps to older ones as well. As spas continue to expand and grow in popularity among a wide demographic of the consumer population, more and more people, both men and women, are taking the time to spend money and invest in themselves. Popular in spas, soaps and scrubs are offered at usually high prices. Even upscale resorts are getting in on the act by providing bar and liquid soaps, to guests, which contain minerals, salts, and naturally exotic oils.
This is where Axe Snake Peel comes into play. Featuring many of the same qualities which makes the pricey spa and resort soaps so attractive, Snake Peel does so at a much more reasonable price. Retailing for around $5.00 for a twelve ounce bottle, and available at a variety of retail outlets as well as online, Snake Peel offers the opportunity to relax with a spa like scrub with a fragrance which is not over powering but is, however, designed more with the male in mind. Axe Snake Peel deep cleanses while exfoliating the skin leaving a refreshed feeling. Snake Peel is especially welcome after strenuous activities as the scrubbing action of the gel combines with the addicting scent to entice the user to relax and rejuvenate in the shower.
