Veterans Day Celebration in Albany, NY 2007
A State Capital Leading the Way
Parade Particulars. The City of Albany has determined to skip by the traditional November 11 date for its Veterans Day Celebration as the 11th this year falls on a Sunday. Instead the city will take advantage of the holiday date on November 12, 2007 to celebrate Veterans Day this year with a city parade beginning at 11 a.m. The parade route is set up to make use of Central Ave and Partridge St. and to bring folks to a dramatic conclusion as the parade ends right near the State Capitol.
