Review of Sally Hansen Shea Butter Hand & Body Butter

Ever since I can remember, I have suffered with dry hands. Especially this time of year, when the cold starts to make it's way into the weather systems! I live in Alaska, and we have longer winters here, with cold temperatures for the better part of the winter season. It's also dry here, and my hands really need a good moisturizer for those winter months.

I admit, I have tried so many hand creams and lotions, and I usually believe the hype about the product. Have you ever seen a bottle of hand lotion that didn't promise to relieve dryness? The fact is, many brands that I've tried end up in the garbage can! I hate thin, runny hand or body lotions.

Sally Hansen is a brand that is sold at both our local Fred Meyer and WalMart stores, so I would bet it's available at most retail outlets. WalMart, in particular, has a great selection of the Sally Hansen products, and I buy a lot of their nail polish and hand care products.

About Shea Butter Hand & Body Butter

Like all those other brands, Sally Hansen makes a lot of claims about their new hand & body butter. The product comes in a taupe colored 3 ounce plastic tube, with a bronze colored cap. When it's sitting cap down, the force of gravity means the product will always be ready when I need it!

The front of the tube states that this is for very dry skin, and that it contains cocoa and grapeseed butters. It also claims to deeply hydrate the skin to nourish and condition for healthy, soft skin.
